Baby Update: 13 weeks

How big is baby: 13w4d  | the size of a (small) peach
Verse that I am clinging to: "You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious inexpressible joy." 1 Peter 1:8
How I’m feeling: good, although really tired (I think this is from the heat)
Symptoms: eczema
Diet/Cravings/Aversions: all I want to drink is a Coke ICEE (and eat gummy bears)
Weight gain/loss: I already gained back my stomach bug lost weight, weighed 131 at doctor on Thursday
Sleep: Sleeping good, still having crazy dreams; this week it has been hard for me to wake up in the morning. My biological clock is waking me up around 6 and if I go back to bed I sleep til 10 and feel icky. Going to try to stay up this week and walk the dogs in the morning before it gets too hot.
Exercise: Went to prenatal yoga yesterday and it was awesome! It felt so good to stretch and move although I am a little sore today. I plan to go back all the Saturdays between now and December 31st… or until I  am too big to yoga.
Movement: the doctor confirmed I probably won’t be feeling anything until 18 - 20 weeks. I have a lot of appointments between now and then so hopefully I’ll get to hear the heartbeat a lot.
Best moment of the week: Thursday went to the doctor and heard the baby’s (fast!) heartbeat again. It was so fun. We scheduled the next few appointments including our gender ultrasound for August 7th.
What I’m loving: Feeling so grateful for feeling better, even though I've been tired the past couple of days. Nausea really has subsided and I am just getting hungrier and hungrier. We also "revealed" on Instagram and that was really fun, so glad it's "out there" and we don't have to keep this HUGE secret to ourselves anymore. Everyone was so nice and I got so many sweet texts from friends! I hope they are still this encouraging when we are in the trenches of newborn life :-)
What I’m looking forward to: I am a little overwhelmed with online work and as much I love laying around over track out, I am way more productive with a little more structure so I am looking forward to going back to work in a week. I feel like the rest of this pregnancy is going to fly by once school starts back. 9 weeks to track out then after that just 9 weeks until we have a baby!
